Directions to Savage Volunteer Fire Hall | 8925 Lincoln Street, Savage, MD 20763

Savage is a small town in southeastern Howard County located not far from the intersection of Howard, Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties. It is just north of Laurel and just south of Columbia and easily accessible from north-south routes 1, 29, 95, or 295. The closest east-west route is 32.

Coming from the South:
Take routes 29 or 95 north to route 32 East (Ft. Meade). Take the Route 1 south exit (Laurel). Proceed to the second light–HOWARD STREET. Turn RIGHT. (When Howard Street curves shortly beyond the intersection, it changes its name to Baltimore Street.) Continue past the Savage Post Office to SAVAGE-GUILFORD ROAD. Turn RIGHT. Proceed one block to LINCOLN STREET. Turn RIGHT. The Fire Station is at 8925, on your RIGHT. The entrance to the community hall and parking are in the rear. 410-880-5803 is the non-emergency number for the fire station.
OR
Take Route 295 north to Route 32 West (Columbia) and proceed as above.
OR
If you are fairly local and decide to use route 1 north, proceed 3 lights beyond the large CARMAX facility to Howard Street and turn left. Then proceed as above.


Coming from the North:

Take routes 29 or 95 South to Route 32 East (Ft. Meade) and proceed to Route 1 South OR from Route 295 South exit at 32 WEST (Columbia). Exit at Route 1 SOUTH (Laurel) and proceed as above.

Savage is known for it’s historic Mill which houses shops, artisans, restaurants, an authentic French bakery and antique galleries. You may want to plan a visit after the workshop!
