TechIDEAs is a new web site developed by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The web site is designed to provide information on the use of technology to support the education of students with disabilities. In addition, the site will post announcements, background information on research projects funded by OSEP, and provide electronic forums for discussion on relevant topics. The TechIDEAs web site is intended to benefit researchers, educators, families, and policy makers interested in the many benefits of technology when used specifically to improve the results of education for students with disabilities.
