Helpful Tips Before Ordering
1. First, check with your child's therapist or teacher to get recommendations for the software and/or equipment that best matches your child's needs and supports his/her educational program.
2. Purchase equipment that meets your child's needs at the present time - do not try to buy something your child might need later. Remember, in the future, newer technologies will be available that may better serve your child's needs.
3. Don't purchase too much at one time--- focus your child's time and energy on becoming competent with one communication device and/or software program at a time.
4. If possible, borrow equipment from your school so you can try it before you buy it. If this is not possible, contact us to see if we have the item that we could loan out to you for a small fee.
5. Before purchasing software and hardware, make sure that it is compatible with your home computer (MAC or PC), and that your computer has all the necessary requirements (memory, sound card, peripherals) to run it. If you have any questions, contact the manufacturer.
6. If you need financial assistance to purchase assistive technology for your child, please contact MD A.T. Guaranteed Loan Program, 1-800-TECH-TAP for information on low interest loans.
What the Co-op does NOT do for PARENTS [back to top]
- Make recommendations for equipment/ software without an A.T. assessment;
- Provide catalogs from manufacturers or produce their own catalog;
- Take the place of your school system's A.T. Team, teachers, therapists, or your doctor;
- Have a store. BUT we do have a location where you can come to preview or borrow equipment for a fee;
- Accept cash or credit cards or process Medicaid or health insurance for orders
- Give refunds unless merchandise is defective when shipped
- Provide trouble shooting, on-going service, or maintenance for equipment
- Order computer systems, wheelchair seating systems or adapted vans at this time
- Accept phone calls beyond normal business hours (9am - 5pm)

You will need a manufacturer's catalog or access to their website in order to get a quote or place an order. View the Vendor/Catalog List to see a list of vendors/manufacturers and their contact information.
1. Complete a copy of the AT: LAST, Inc Quote Form;
Send your Quote Request to the MD AT:Co-op
* E-mail: purchasing@matcoop.org at any time, day or night;
* Fax: (410) 290-1012 between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm EST (Please respect the listed hours; the fax machine is in a private home);
* Mail to: AT: LAST, Inc, PO Box 428, Savage, MD 20763;
2. The Co-op will research the best price for your desired product based on current bids and will contact you with the total price quote, including any applicable taxes and shipping.
3. Make check or money order payable to AT: LAST, Inc (NO Cash, Credit Cards, or MEDICAL ASSISTANCE).
4. Your order will be placed when payment is received.
5. Please allow 2 - 6 weeks for delivery to your shipping address.
ORDER CAREFULLY:
Returns can be expensive and are normally only allowed within one month of order unless item is defective.

1. Send your check and order to: AT: LAST, Inc, PO Box 428, Savage, MD 20763;
2. Group products by manufacturer on your Order. Calculate discounts and shipping/handling for each.
3. Indicate catalog product number and name.
4. Indicate Mac or PC and cable type where necessary.
5. Include phone and email contact information.
6. Email purchasing@matcoop.org or call (410) 290 1327 as soon as your order arrives.
