This Grand Opening is Dedicated to Our Wounded Warriors
Fighting to Regain their Independence

Help us in encouraging all of our wounded servicemen and women, their families, caregivers, service providers, and potential employers to attend this demonstration of assistive and adaptive technologies.

These devices --aids for daily living tasks, for adapted computer access, for vision and hearing loss, for recreation, and more --help provide a means for overcoming the challenges which result from the physical and emotional assaults of war.

Numerous assistive technology specialists and agency representatives will be on hand to provide information on a wide variety of devices and services for veterans of all ages. After your introduction on this Opening Day plan to attend follow-up training events and in-depth product explorations throughout August.

The public is also invited to view our expanded Demonstration Center of devices and software for children with special needs and for seniors with functional limitations. Displays in our Learning Center will change each month. Details will be posted on our website, www.matcoop.org

What will you see at the opening?

Come on July 31st to explore the possibilities, make a wish list,
and gather product catalogs and literature.

Plan to return throughout August to participate in our follow-on training events and /or schedule an appointment for more hands-on time with the equipment.

Schedule will follow shortly on our website and be available at the event.

Help Us "KEEP THE PIG FLYING"

Why is the Flying Pig our mascot?

In 1998 our founder, Susan Garber, began approaching Assistive Technology (AT) manufacturers and vendors about the concept of discounting AT in exchange for larger, pooled orders. While many saw this approach as a good business practice, a few groused,

"When Pigs Fly"

Since our Cooperative purchasing service began in March of 1999 we have saved schools, families, organizations, and governmental institutions
1.8 Million Dollars and have trained approximately 4,700 people through workshops, seminars, make and takes, and expos.

Indeed, the pig is flying.

But we need your financial assistance to provide more much-needed training to support use of the AT being purchased, and to expand our demonstration and loan programs. Won't you help us "Keep the Pig Flying" for all those with special needs by making a tax deductible contribution.

Please copy and paste, then mail in the following to make a contribution:

Yes, I want to help AT:LAST, Inc. continue to support individuals with disabilities through the Assistive Technologies that give greater independence. I like the idea that my one check helps individuals with all types of disabilities, as well as seniors with limitations resulting from aging. I appreciate that you do not do mail or telephone solicitations.
